Fainted in AneeMate? Know what stays and what is at risk

When your health runs out in AneeMate, the official guide says you faint and wake at camp. Your party and items stored at home are kept. Ordinary bag contents are left behind, while the pouch is the bag's safe slot. A creature waiting in a Yipee in your bag is not yet safe if you faint.
The important distinction is where something is stored, not simply whether you found or caught it. A party member, a creature waiting in a bag and an item in home storage do not occupy the same place in the rules. Learn those categories before taking another long trip.
Check your state after returning to camp
Open the relevant pages and look at what is actually present. The official basics section describes the return to camp and the difference between the bag and its safe pouch. Do not assume that a missing item was automatically sold, deleted from every system or moved into home storage.
This article explains the public guide checked on 20 October 2026. It does not claim we reproduced every loss scenario in the latest game build. Where the guide does not establish a recovery rule, we do not invent a timer, map marker or guarantee that you can recover everything.
Party and bag are different places
The public guide says the party is kept when you faint. It separately warns about catches made while that party is full. A new catch can wait inside its Yipee in the bag until you make room. Fainting in that state can let it escape.
That warning matters after an exciting catch. The capture animation does not mean every storage-related step is finished. Check the creature's card and the current instructions for moving it into the party. Do not treat a waiting catch as if it had already joined a free party slot.
For the wider sequence, see catching, becoming and exploring. It connects the moment of capture to the next decision. This article focuses on the narrower question of what a return to camp preserves.
The pouch is a safe slot, not the entire bag
The guide identifies the pouch as the place whose contents come home with you. That does not make every item elsewhere in the bag protected. Before leaving, check the actual interface and what it allows you to put in that slot.
Do not assume unlimited pouch capacity, a particular shortcut or eligibility for every item. Those details need to come from the current game. A screenshot of somebody else's inventory may show a different configuration or build. The useful habit is to distinguish protected storage from ordinary carried contents.
Home storage changes the risk of the next journey
The home section describes storage at camp and says its contents remain safe. Returning to store finds is therefore a separate decision from continuing to gather with everything in the bag. A bigger haul carried farther is not automatically the better outcome.
Our home, farming and crafting guide explains how that base fits into the adventure. You do not need to build a decorative settlement before understanding the storage loop. Begin with the current camp and storage instructions, then develop the home as your play allows.
Original example: a trip with a full party
This is an invented scenario to illustrate the distinction, not a report from a player's account. A player has a full party, gathers materials and catches another creature. The new catch waits in its Yipee in the bag. The player now has several reasons to review the inventory before continuing into another fight.
They can consult the card, make a party decision according to the game's rules and return to place appropriate items in home storage. If they keep exploring, they should understand which contents remain exposed to the fainting rule. This example does not promise that every item or creature can be moved in every circumstance.
The decision is about the current trip, not whether a player is brave enough. A short return can be a sensible part of learning a new area. Losing carried finds does not require buying a token or a pack to make another attempt at ordinary play.
Creature fainting is another question
The guide also describes individual AneeMates' health, feeding and resting. An individual creature becoming unavailable is not identical to the player running out of health and returning to camp. Read which event the screen is showing before applying the bag-loss rule to it.
Use the party and care instructions for creature recovery. This article does not replace them with a claim that a fainted creature is permanently gone. Keep the identity of the event clear: player return, creature health and a waiting catch each have their own context.
Frequently asked questions
Do I lose my whole party when I faint? The public guide says your party is kept. The separate warning concerns a new catch still waiting inside its Yipee in the bag.
Are all items in the bag protected by the pouch? No. The guide calls the pouch a safe slot. Do not extend that description to ordinary bag contents.
Can I always recover everything left behind? This article does not establish a universal recovery guarantee. Follow the current game's information and use the official support route if something behaves differently from the documented rule.
