Standings are recomputed from the event log, so nothing is ever counted twice. Ties go to whoever got there first.
When a competition settles, the badge and the community points go to the account that earned them. Milestones pay as you reach them.
Competitions reset on schedule. Catches made offline count once the game reconnects and the server has checked them; races only count live play. Your badges are on your profile.
