Batine guide: Nature matchups, family and reference stats

Batine is listed in the AneeMate web reference as a Rare Nature creature, number 034, and the first stage of the Batine, Irodine and Ashron family. Its card separates base stats, move unlocks and incoming elemental matchups. Read those sections together before treating one total or an illustration as a complete guide to your creature.

This article uses the official Batine card and the website's species data, checked on 1 November 2026. It is a reference-reading guide, not a report of catching or testing Batine in a game build. The current card explicitly says it is not found in the wild in this build, so we do not supply an invented hunting location.

Identify the right creature first

Use the name and number when opening the reference. Batine's family contains other names and stages, so a related portrait is not enough to establish that you are reading the same entry. The card labels Batine as Nature, Rare and stage one of three. Those are separate descriptors, rather than three different names for a power rating.

The web Matebook explanation also matters here. The website is a reference and can hold your local checklist marks. Opening Batine's card does not import an owned creature from your save, and marking a species caught does not verify your current in-game collection.

What do Batine's base stats show?

The inspected reference gives Batine a base total of 350. Its individual base fields are:

The total is a summary of those fields, not an independent test score. It does not tell you that Batine is the best choice for every task or that an owned creature at another level will display those numbers. Read the individual field relevant to your question and keep the reference state with any comparison.

For example, comparing two cards at different displayed levels can lead to the wrong conclusion. Before interpreting a difference, align the reference conditions. This article does not claim that equal totals produce identical combat behaviour. Elements, available moves and the task you are planning remain relevant.

Read hits taken separately from moves used

Batine's current card lists incoming Fire and Ice matchups at x2, with incoming Electric and Water at x0.5. These are the card's defensive matchup entries. They should not be read as a statement that Batine's own attacks deal those amounts against every target of those elements.

The card separately identifies Water and Electric as favourable targets for its Nature moves. Direction matters: who is attacking, which element the move uses and which creature is receiving it? The element-matchup guide explains the broader chart. Use that chart when a question goes beyond the specific entries on Batine's card.

Which moves does the reference list?

The current entry names Leaf Cut, Vine Shot, Wrapping Vines and Leaf Tornado. It associates their slots with the documented unlock levels 1, 10, 30 and 70. Nature Burrow appears separately as an escape description. Do not treat every named action on a reference card as a currently available input for your owned creature.

The move-readiness guide covers that distinction. Start with the actions actually available in your installed build and current state. A future unlock on a website card is useful planning information, but it is not evidence that pressing a key will produce that move now.

Follow the family without skipping the requirements

Batine's card shows the family sequence Batine, Irodine and Ashron. For the first transition, the inspected card names companion level 25 plus one Nature orb to grow into Irodine. Treat the level and item as separate requirements. Merely recognising the next family portrait does not establish that your current creature meets them.

For a wider preparation check, read evolution readiness. This guide does not add an alternative evolution route, a new source of orbs or a shortcut that the current reference does not establish. Compare the card with the information your installed game actually presents.

What about finding Batine?

The card contains descriptive flavour text, but its explicit location section says Batine is not found in the wild in this build. A meadow in an illustration or a descriptive sentence should not be turned into a guaranteed spawn route. We have not verified a current acquisition path through gameplay for this article.

If you are planning around Batine, check current official information rather than spending a session following an inferred location. If your game and the reference disagree, note the build, species and exact discrepancy. That is more useful than assuming the whole collection system has changed from one observation.

Common Batine questions

Is 350 my creature's current stat total?

It is the base total in the inspected web reference. Your current level and state are a separate question. Do not treat the website as a live readout of your save.

Is Batine automatically the right choice against Water?

The reference lists favourable Nature-move matchups, but a complete decision also depends on the actual move, target and task. This article does not provide a universal team ranking.

Where should I start?

Open Batine's official card, identify the section that answers your question, then compare it with your current game. Use the official gameplay guide for the wider systems around the creature.
