Guco to Godusus: when Nature gains a Rock element

Guco and Gladaby are listed as Nature AneeMates, while Godusus adds Rock. That change matters when reading the family’s defensive matchups: the final form is not simply the same reference with a larger number beside it. Start with the official species cards, then separate the published evolution requirements, move unlocks and habitat information before planning a trip or spending resources.
Meet the family in order
The current Guco card places Guco first, followed by Gladaby and Godusus. Guco is listed as Common and Nature, Gladaby as Rare and Nature, and Godusus as Epic with Nature and Rock. These are website reference entries, not a claim that a particular player owns or can immediately obtain all three.
The published data marks this family as not found in the wild in the current reference. Do not turn an attractive forest illustration into a spawn location. This article’s hero is concept artwork; it does not show an actual encounter or reveal a place where a player can catch Guco.
Check the level and the orb together
The Guco-to-Gladaby reference requires companion level 25 and one Nature Orb. The Gladaby-to-Godusus reference lists companion level 60 and three Nature Orbs. Read those as two separate transitions, rather than treating the family as one automatic upgrade at a single threshold.
Before acting, check the current game’s requirement panel and the resources it actually shows. This guide has not performed an evolution or inspected a player inventory. For a wider explanation of readiness, use our level-and-orb guide, then return to the specific species card for the family you are considering.
Nature defence changes when Rock joins
Guco and Gladaby’s current cards list Fire and Ice at twice the incoming damage, with Electric and Water at half. Godusus’s listed combination changes that picture: Fire and Psychic are the displayed weaknesses, while Electric is reduced to a quarter. Its card does not keep the same separate Water resistance or Ice weakness shown for the earlier forms.
Those comparisons describe the published defensive reference. They are not a claim that every hit in a live fight will equal a simple base number multiplied by that value. Other conditions belong to the actual combat system and current build. Our element matchup guide helps keep incoming and outgoing relationships separate.
The moves are not identical at every stage
Guco lists Leaf Cut, Vine Shot, Wrapping Vines and Leaf Tornado. Gladaby keeps Leaf Cut and Wrapping Vines, while its listed shot is Wrapping Ball and its special is Vine Wall. Godusus lists Trunk Strike, Toxic Rain, Wrapping Vines and Grasping Bloom Ranged.
The published slots unlock at companion levels 1, 10, 30 and 70. A move appearing on a species reference does not mean it is usable by a newly obtained companion. Check the current unlock state in the game before building a plan around the last entry. Our move practice guide focuses on what is available now.
An original planning example
Imagine a player reviewing the family before an encounter associated with Water attacks. They notice that Guco and Gladaby have a listed Water resistance, then check Godusus rather than assuming the final form keeps it. The useful finding is the changed reference, not an automatic instruction to avoid or choose the evolution.
Next they check the current companion level and unlocked moves. A future move does not enter the plan simply because the card lists it. Finally, they read the current in-game requirements before deciding whether any progression action is appropriate. This is an invented reference-reading exercise, not a report of a successful fight or evolution.
Bigger totals still need context
The published base totals increase across the family, but individual fields do not all rise in the same way. For example, Gladaby’s base hit points are listed as 90 and Godusus’s as 89. A total is therefore a summary, not a guarantee that every field increases at the next stage.
Compare like with like. The website’s selected-level preview and family-ceiling display are different from a species’ base values. Use the labels on the MateBook and card, and check the live game for your own companion’s current state. The website card is not a health monitor for a saved creature.
Common questions
Where should I search for wild Guco?
The current official reference says it is not found in the wild in this build. This guide supplies no alternate spawn route or guaranteed acquisition method. Check future official updates rather than following an invented location.
Does Godusus keep every earlier defensive advantage?
No. Read the Nature-and-Rock card as its own combination. The listed incoming relationships differ from the earlier pure-Nature entries, even though the family remains connected by evolution.
Is this a tested combat ranking?
No. It is a guide to current published species data, checked on 6 November 2026. Explore AneeMate on Epic and use your installed build for actual availability and progression decisions.
